How does the personal injury claims process work?

If we think you do have a claim, the process will normally go like this:

1. Your personal injury lawyer will find out how you've been affected. This might mean you need to provide some evidence to support your claim - like photos or medical records.
2. With this information, your lawyer will contact the party at fault for your accident. It can be a person or an organisation.
3. If the other party accepts fault, your lawyer will negotiate the compensation you're owed. If they don't, your lawyer will continue to pursue the claim as before.
